Akatoki throws funk, bossa nova, and tension cues into the same tracklist and somehow it works because nothing takes itself too seriously. "In A Bossa Mood" slides into smooth cafe territory like a completely different game. Then you scroll down and find "I'm A Poop And A Poop" sitting right next to "I Like Sushi!!" and you realize this soundtrack has zero chill about naming conventions.
"Covered Of Darkness" goes genuinely eerie though. Real tonal whiplash from the comedy tracks. Play this when you need proof that VN soundtracks from 2011 had personality for days.
