Soft piano and atmospheric pads that drift between melancholy and warmth. Akeiro Kaikitan's Memorial CD from 2016 runs 35 tracks covering every mood a visual novel needs. "Morning scenery" eases you in gently, while "Serious night" pulls the tone darker with tension underneath.
The range here is wild. You go from "Comical time" to "Heartrending" to "Make love" across the same disc. "Whisper" and "Whisper2" do this quiet, intimate thing that barely exists above silence. The Japanese-titled bookend tracks ("緋色の空" and "かごめかごめ") ground everything in something traditional.
That contrast between the English-named ambient pieces and these feels deliberate. If you like visual novel soundtracks that actually hold up outside the game, this one earns its memorial title.
