Warm, folksy tones that smell like a tavern with a fireplace going. Ale & Malt is a 2011 release with no listed platform, and the track names tell the whole story. The self-titled "Ale & Malt" sets the vibe with something you could imagine playing in an inn at the end of a long quest.
"Heretic roar R.McC" breaks the calm with an edge that suggests not everyone in the pub is friendly. "Waterball" and "Round mates" keep things moving with a pleasant rhythm. "Drucht" has weight to it, darker and more deliberate.
Nine tracks framed by an intro and outro, compact and focused. If you ever wanted a soundtrack that sounds like a medieval pub crawl, pour one and press play.
