"Special video letter" opens with the kind of delicate piano and string work that made the main games' soundtracks so beloved. The three-part "A story presented to you" suite, split into first volume, inside chapter, and latter part, traces a narrative arc in miniature.
It is the ef approach distilled: building from quiet introduction through emotional complexity to resolution, all within a handful of tracks. The series always excelled at making every musical moment feel like it mattered, and these pieces continue that tradition despite their brevity.
"Angel's kiss with getting sick from drinking" is the kind of charmingly titled track that only a Japanese VN could produce, and it provides a lighter counterpoint to the emotional weight of the suite before it. For fans who fell in love with ef's storytelling and Tenmon's ability to make piano notes feel like memory itself, this is a small but meaningful addition to the collection.
