Subtitled "Midwinter Variety Hustle Second!" this disc leans heavily into anime archetype humor, with segments like the kuudere teacher skit and the legendary "Tsundere Tournament" letting the voice cast go wild with their characters.
The structure mimics a live radio variety show, complete with fake commercial breaks (the "Miko to Tsundere" CM is delightful) and listener mail corners that break the fourth wall in playful ways. Tracks like "AOZORA THE MOVIE Trailer" offer tongue-in-cheek parodies, while the closing track "Soshite, Aozora no Mieru Oka de" brings things back to the heartfelt tone that made the original visual novel resonate with fans.
As a companion piece to the Feng-developed visual novel, this drama CD captures the slice-of-life warmth and comedic energy that defined the series. The bonus track rounds out the experience nicely, and for fans who fell in love with these characters on Windows, it is a fun excuse to spend more time in their world -- even if half the fun is hearing the voice actors barely hold it together during the more absurd segments.
