Arc Rise Fantasia was Imageepoch's ambitious Wii JRPG composed primarily by Yasunori Mitsuda of Chrono Trigger and Xenogears fame, alongside contributions from Yoko Shimomura and Shunsuke Tsuchiya.

With that pedigree, even an unlabeled tracklist carries serious weight -- this is one of the most musically accomplished Wii titles ever made. The 56-plus tracks cover everything from sweeping orchestral overworld themes to pulse-pounding battle music that rivals anything on the PS3 or Xbox 360 from the same era.
Mitsuda's signature Celtic-influenced melodicism runs throughout, while Shimomura's contributions bring the kind of emotional character work she is known for from Kingdom Hearts and Legend of Mana. The boss themes in particular are standouts, blending choir, strings, and aggressive percussion into something genuinely epic.
For the full track-titled experience, the 2010 official release of the Arc Rise Fantasia Original Soundtrack is the way to go. But this version still captures the same incredible music -- a score that, for many fans, was the single best reason to play a game that was otherwise hampered by a notoriously rough English localization.
If you are listening to these tracks numbered rather than named, you are still hearing some of the finest JRPG composition of the late 2000s.
