"The Lovers- Rusty rain" brings a bittersweet romanticism, and "Justice- Astrea" invokes the Greek goddess of justice with appropriate gravitas. The sequencing follows the tarot's symbolic arc rather than the standard numerical order, skipping from The High Priestess to The Hierophant, jumping to The Lovers, landing on Wheel of Fortune.
It's a curated path through the Major Arcana rather than an exhaustive catalog. "Wheel of Fotune- meant to be" captures that sense of fate turning, and "Judgement- The time of awake" closes with the reckoning the deck always promises.
At only eight tracks, nothing overstays its welcome. Each piece gets in, establishes its card's energy, and moves on. It's a concept album in the truest sense -- the structure IS the point. For anyone drawn to the intersection of mysticism and game music, this is a tight, focused listen that commits fully to its theme.
