Pure serenity in soundtrack form, from the ARIA franchise that turned Neo-Venezia into the most peaceful place in all of anime and games. "Shiny Blue Sky" is exactly the kind of open, glistening track you'd expect while gondolaing through Martian canals, "Unga no Yasashii Kaze" (Gentle Wind of the Canal) practically makes you feel the breeze, and "Gogo no TeaTime" is afternoon tea distilled into melody.
The multiple versions of "graceful way" show how one theme can carry different emotional textures. The Piano Version strips it to something intimate and reflective, the Orgel (music box) Version turns it into a keepsake you'd find in Alicia's room, and the Short Version is the quick breath of it between scenes.
"Auguri Buon Anno" brings that Italian flavor the series is built on, and "Casanova no Gyouretsu" (Casanova's Procession) adds a touch of playful Venetian festivity. But the quieter tracks are where this soundtrack lives.
"Tsuioku no Yuugure" (Twilight of Remembrance) aches with nostalgia, "Furiyamanai Ame" (Unceasing Rain) brings the rare cloudy day to a world that's usually sunshine, and "Arigatou ga Iitakute" (Wanting to Say Thank You) is the emotional core that ARIA fans will recognize immediately.
If you've ever wished you could just exist in Neo-Venezia for a while, press play.
