"ARID Main Theme" sets the tone with sparse instrumentation and open space, while "Gosth Town" brings a haunted, wind-swept quality to the abandoned mining settlements you'll find scattered across the landscape. "Hope (Moon Valley Music)" is gorgeous -- this rising, optimistic swell that mirrors the surreal rock formations of Valle de la Luna.
"A warm welcome (Cebolla Una Music)" shifts into something more human and grounded, the sound of arriving somewhere after hours of nothing. The day and night music compilations show real attention to the desert's rhythm, bright and shimmering by day, deep and contemplative under "Atacama Stars."
"Alone" closes things out with exactly the weight that title promises. There's also an older version of the main menu theme included, which is a nice peek behind the curtain. For a small indie title, this soundtrack punches well above its weight class in atmosphere.
