Massive, biome-spanning orchestral combat music for a game about punching dinosaurs and somehow building an empire. ARK: Survival Evolved's soundtrack by Gareth Coker is organized like a field guide to getting attacked in different ecosystems.

Four beach battle tracks, four grassland, four jungle, four mountain -- each set capturing the specific flavor of panic that comes with a raptor ambush in that particular terrain. The beach battles feel urgent but open, the cave battles go claustrophobic and heavy, and the mountain tracks carry genuine altitude in their instrumentation.
The boss themes are where Coker really flexes. "Broodmother" is appropriately creepy and skittering, "Dragon fight" goes full cinematic spectacle, and "Megapithicus fight" brings the primal, chest-thumping intensity you'd expect from fighting a giant ape.
"Creation" and "Evolve" handle the quieter moments -- spawning on a beach with nothing, slowly building toward something. "Main Title" is that iconic theme that every ARK player has heard a thousand times on the loading screen.
"Fear Evolved" brings the seasonal Halloween event energy, darker and more theatrical than the base game material. The sheer volume of combat variations shows a composer who understood that in a survival game where you'll die hundreds of times, the fight music better have enough variety to not drive you insane.
Mission accomplished.
