The track names here have a personality you don't always get in big-budget scores. "Bimbling on the Bi-Frost" is delightfully casual for a walk across the rainbow bridge. "Sand in My Shoes..." flows directly into "... and Draug on My Pants," telling a little two-part story through titles alone.
The Low Keys tracks, "Runes," "Freyja's Embrace," and "Aegir's Tavern," bring in a more intimate, folk-influenced sound that contrasts beautifully with the combat pieces like "The Battle with Tyr" and "Brawls in the Streets."
"Farewell, Dear Brother" hits with genuine emotional weight in the middle of all the Viking spectacle. "A Shield-Maiden's Journey" carries this forward momentum that makes you want to keep pushing through the next dungeon.
When the score lets itself breathe between the epic setpieces, that's where it really shines. A soundtrack that proves VR-exclusive games deserve the same compositional ambition as anything else.
