The second volume of Sanzaru Games' ambitious VR action RPG soundtrack digs deeper into Norse mythology with 27 tracks of orchestral adventure. The track names show real personality too: "Like a Bat out of Hel," "Ice to Meet You," and "Don't Bust My Hanging Baskets" bring a sense of humor that keeps the epic scope from getting too self-serious. The combat tracks hit hard.
"Fight for Freedom" and "Battle on the Lift" deliver urgent, kinetic energy that must feel incredible in VR with a sword in each hand. "Thor's Charged" and "Thor's Bruiser" are pure power fantasy fuel, all pounding percussion and heroic motifs.
"In the Valley of the Giants" goes wide and awe-inspiring, capturing the scale that VR does better than any other medium. The garden sequence tracks show a completely different side of the score. "Into the Garden," "Garden Party," and "The Secret Garden" shift into pastoral warmth that provides genuine contrast to the Norse warfare everywhere else.
"Yggdrasil (2)" brings the mythological weight back with a composition worthy of the World Tree itself. This is a VR soundtrack that understood the assignment: make the player feel like they're actually standing inside a myth.
