The official OST release trims a few tracks from the game soundtrack version but adds one crucial piece: "Apple Chamber." That track alone justifies this release, capturing the eerie, otherworldly energy of the Isu vault sequences with a tension that Jesper Kyd does better than almost anyone.

"Master Assassin" leads the tracklist this time, and hearing it first changes the whole mood, opening on confidence rather than oppression. "City of Rome" is Kyd at his most atmospheric, blending period instrumentation with subtle electronic undercurrents that became his signature on the series.
"The Brotherhood Escapes" carries this desperate urgency, and "Brotherhood of the Assassins" counters it with the pride and solidarity of the recruits rallying to Ezio's cause. The interplay between those two tracks tells a whole story.
"Ezio Confronts Lucrezia" is theatrical in the best way, matching the drama of one of Brotherhood's most memorable scenes. "Roman Underworld" takes you into the catacombs with low, rumbling tones that make your skin crawl.
Slightly different track order and selection from the Game Soundtrack version, but both are essential Kyd.
