"Bahjat Alqamar" (Moon Elation) opens with delicate oud work and breathy vocals that immediately transport you to 9th century Baghdad under moonlight. It is gorgeous in a way that the action-heavy main score rarely allows itself to be.
"Nuzha Fi Assooq" (Market Stroll) captures the vibrant chaos of Baghdad's bazaars with layered percussion and melodic phrases that weave in and out like you are actually walking through crowds. "Mughamara" (Adventure) picks up the pace with driving rhythms that channel the return-to-roots energy Mirage was built around.
"Mahboobati" (My Beloved) closes things out with an emotional warmth that speaks to Basim's deeper connections. Short collection, but each track earns its place. If you grabbed the standard edition and skipped these, you missed some of the most atmospheric music Mirage produced.
