2020 · Playstation 4, Stadia, Windows, Xbox One

It's one of the strongest main themes in the entire Assassin's Creed franchise, capturing both the brutality and the spiritual depth of Viking culture. "Asgard -- Hall of the Aesir" is another Selvik collaboration that transports listeners straight into the mythological realm, with chanting and ceremonial percussion that feel genuinely ritualistic rather than Hollywood-Viking.

"Hausbrjotr - Skullcrusher" and "Vigahugr - Lust for Battle (Skaldic Version)" deliver on the combat promise with aggressive, driving compositions that use Old Norse naming conventions to underscore their authenticity. These are tracks built for raiding monasteries.

"Son of Fjord" and "The Well of Wyrd" round out the collection with atmospheric exploration pieces that hint at the vast open world awaiting players. "Odin's Plunder" bridges the gap between action and exploration with a satisfying post-raid energy.

At seven tracks, The Ravens Saga was essentially a mission statement -- a promise that Valhalla's score would honor Norse musical traditions while delivering the cinematic scope the series demands. That promise was kept.
