"Francia" opens with a distinctly Continental atmosphere, introducing new textures and harmonic language that immediately signal you have left England behind. The fourteen-track score is lean and focused, matching the DLC's tighter, more assassination-focused structure.
"Plague District" and "The Rot in the Slums" are the album's darkest moments, using dissonant strings and unsettling ambient textures to score the disease-ravaged sections of Paris that gave the expansion some of its most memorable environmental storytelling.

"Crossing the Seine" is a particular highlight, its flowing melodic lines mirroring the river itself as Eivor approaches the walled city for the final confrontation.
