Assault Spy is a stylish action game that mashes up corporate office culture with spy thriller theatrics, and the soundtrack leans into that absurd premise with total commitment. "Heroic Salaryman" is possibly the most perfect track title in gaming -- it captures the entire game's pitch of a regular office worker thrust into high-octane espionage action.

The corporate warfare wordplay continues with "Death by Overwork" (a darkly funny nod to the very real Japanese concept of karoshi), "Midnight Work," and "Beyond Work Hours," turning cubicle drudgery into action movie set pieces.
"Override the System" and "System Shutdown" bookend the hacking and infiltration sequences with appropriately techy, driving electronic rock, while "Enter the Agent" and "SPY LADY" give the two playable characters their own musical swagger.
"Showtime Showdown" and "Officer Battle" bring the combat energy, and "Project Meltdown" presumably scores the moment everything goes catastrophically sideways. "Information War" and "High-speed Processing" keep the corporate-espionage metaphor running through the action tracks.
The inclusion of ambient tracks (1 through 4) alongside instrumental and loop variants of key pieces shows thoughtful soundtrack design -- "Result System (Loop)" and "Office Breakout (Inst.)" are the kind of utilitarian versions that work in gameplay contexts where the vocal or full arrangement would be too much.
"Project Kickoff" and "Competitors" round out the office-themed battle music with infectious energy. The whole package has a Devil May Cry-adjacent vibe filtered through a salary-man comedy lens, and it works way better than it has any right to.
