AsterhYthm 3 -Infinite Meteor- is the third installment in the AsterhYthm arcade rhythm game series, and this 2017 soundtrack continues the franchise's commitment to high-energy, genre-blending electronic music. The title track "Infinite Meteor" sets the tone with relentless intensity, while "Mirrorforce" and the cryptically named "Λ" push into harder, more aggressive territory that demands precision from players.

"KITTY FOILED" stands out as one of the more playful entries, offering a breather from the onslaught without sacrificing rhythmic complexity. The tracklist showcases impressive stylistic range for a ten-song collection. "Glitterized Travel" leans into sparkling, euphoric trance-adjacent territory, while "雪夜桜" (Snow Night Cherry Blossoms) brings in Japanese melodic sensibilities that contrast beautifully with the more Western-influenced electronic tracks.
"Howling Moon" delivers darker, more atmospheric energy, and "Kouyou Vortex (Re -playback)" reimagines an earlier entry with fresh production that keeps returning players on their toes. The long version of "Trixxxter" closing out the album is a particular treat, expanding one of the series' trickier charts into a full-length listening experience.
"IPHEION," named after the spring starflower, brings a surprisingly delicate beauty to the set before that finale hits. For fans of arcade rhythm games and the doujin music scene that feeds into them, this is a polished and thoroughly enjoyable collection.
