"Lucky smile" opens with that bright, determined energy the ASUKA series is known for, and "Dear my friend" closes things out with a warmer, more reflective tone that hits different after you have spent three episodes with these characters.
The three episodes in between are drama tracks, voiced scenes that expand the ASUKA 120% universe beyond what the fighting games could show. Fill-in-Cafe built a surprisingly deep cast of characters for a competitive fighter, and these drama CDs gave them room to breathe, argue, and bond outside of the ring.
The "Asuka 120% Cult Quiz" tucked in before the ending is a fun deep-cut fan service moment, testing how well you actually know the series lore. This is peak mid-90s anime game merchandise, the kind of thing that only existed because Japanese fans wanted more time with characters they loved.
If you are already deep in the ASUKA 120% rabbit hole, this is essential context.
