Bubbly, character-driven themes with that mid-2000s visual novel charm. ATMOSPHERE: Poteneko Academy gives every character their own musical identity and it works so well. "Kung-fu Kitten (Laihua)" is exactly as fun as it sounds, bouncy and full of personality.
"Drug of Passion (Rivyere)" goes sultry and moody, a total tonal shift. The location tracks are great too. "Plumaos academy" and "Academy library" set the scene with this cozy, lived-in quality. "Refrain -winter mix-" takes the main theme and wraps it in something colder, quieter.
Like revisiting the school after everyone's gone home. The NekomiMix and Summer Mix remixes show the composers just having fun with the material. If you miss that era of character theme soundtracks where every girl got her own banger, this is your album.
