Battle of Giants Dinosaur Strike Soundtrack

2014 · Nintendo Wii

Stomping orchestral weight for a Wii dinosaur brawler. Battle of Giants: Dinosaur Strike scores its dino combat with surprisingly dramatic arrangements. "Red Dawn" sets this apocalyptic tone like the extinction event is happening right now.

"Raptors!" has the kind of urgent strings and brass that make a pack hunt feel cinematic. "The Plodding Giant" slows everything down to match the sheer mass of whatever sauropod is lumbering across your screen. The quieter moments like "A Brief Respite" and "Survey The Terrain" give the soundtrack more range than you would expect from a budget Wii title.

There is genuine atmosphere here between the roaring. Anyone who ever picked T-Rex in every dinosaur game owes this one a listen.
