"VALKYRIAS -英雄誕生-" opens with this epic warrior declaration that sets up the whole heroic tone. Then "Virus Funk" just grooves, dirty and infectious in a way that doesn't care about the lore at all. "深淵に捧ぐレクイエム" brings genuine darkness, a requiem that earns its name.
The 2020 production quality is top tier throughout. If you want an IIDX entry where every track feels like it has something to prove, HEROIC VERSE fights for it.
