Guitar-shredding anime fighter energy from note one. BlazBlue: Calamity Trigger launched on PS3 and Xbox 360 in 2009 and the limited edition OST packs in the good stuff. "Rebellion" is Ragna's theme and it absolutely rips, all distorted guitars and attitude.

"Imperial Code" plays during the Jin vs Noel matchup and has this urgency that makes you want to mash buttons harder. The title screen track "nocturne" is weirdly calm for a game this aggressive. Like a deep breath before someone throws a punch.

Story mode pieces like "Rimelight" carry the narrative scenes without getting in the way. If you play fighting games and haven't heard BlazBlue's character themes, you're missing some of the hardest tracks the genre ever produced.
