Darker tones creeping in right from the opening track. Brave Frontier Soundtrack vol.2 carries the subtitle Escape from the Abyss, and it absolutely delivers on that mood. "Ghost" has this unsettling atmosphere that the first volume never touched, while "God Battle" brings towering orchestral intensity for the endgame fights.

"Randall" grounds everything with a city theme that feels lived-in and worn. The 8-bit version of "Frontier" at the very end is such a cool move. Takes the main theme and crunches it down to chiptune, like a nod to the RPGs this game was inspired by.
"Devil's Heart" and "Crimson Hill" keep things tense throughout the middle stretch. If you liked the first volume, this is where the story gets heavy and the music follows.
