Caves of Qud Soundtrack

2020 · Linux, MacOS, Windows

Droning ambient textures and procedural weirdness that sounds like a shortwave radio picking up transmissions from underground. Caves of Qud is that deeply strange roguelike set in a far-future sci-fi wasteland, and the music matches every bit of its mutant energy.

Overworld has this wide open desolation to it. Then Golgotha drops and it's filthy, oppressive, exactly what a trash dungeon deserves. Clam Dimension is a real track name and it sounds exactly as unhinged as you'd expect.

Barathrum's Study and Attenuated Signals, Fractals feel like you're decoding ancient technology. The whole soundtrack shifts between meditative calm and something lurking just underneath. Stoic Porridge, Deep Dawn, Moonstair.

All vibes, no filler. If you play games where you grow extra limbs and talk to plants, you already need this in your ears.
