Dark, glitchy ambience that crawls under your skin. Claire is a 2D survival horror game and its soundtrack does not let you forget that for a second. "The Darkness" is just this oppressive low drone that makes you want to check behind you.

"Run" kicks the panic up with sharp, aggressive tones that mirror the gameplay perfectly. Then you get tracks like "You're Safe Now I" through III that act as these brief exhales between the terror. Moments where the music actually lets you breathe.
"The Hospital" sits somewhere in the middle, uneasy but not outright hostile. There's a track called "Judgement Doge" and honestly that caught me off guard. For anyone who likes horror soundtracks that work just as well outside the game.
