Crunchy retro-inspired synths with modern production polish. Cosmic Star Heroine is a JRPG love letter on PS4 and Vita, and the soundtrack goes all in on that 16-bit-meets-now energy. "Battle of Conflicts" drives combat with layered percussion and screaming leads, "Spy-Fi" has this sneaky cool groove, and "Wicked Metropolis" builds a whole cyberpunk city in your head.

The range is wild. "Gunmancer" sounds as cool as its name, and quieter tracks like "Echoes" and "Phantasms" pull back into genuine atmosphere. There is even a track in Japanese tucked in there, "言い返す のよ," which catches you off guard in the best way.
