Moody synths and Japanese vocals pulling you into something dark. D*S 1&2 original theme song music disc collects songs and BGM from what appears to be a visual novel duology from 2000. "Days of promise" opens things up as the main vocal theme, and you also get karaoke and short versions of it.
The instrumental side is where it gets interesting though. Tracks like "闇よりイズルもの、其の弐" (something rising from darkness) and "落莫の残像" carry this heavy, atmospheric weight. Twenty-plus tracks spanning vocal themes, ambient background pieces, and character mood cues.
The range goes from bright springtime vibes in "春風駘蕩" to genuinely unsettling tension in the darker cuts. If you like early 2000s VN soundtracks that swing between sweet and sinister without warning, this set delivers that exact whiplash.
