Tense, glitchy, lo-fi weirdness that sounds like a math test having a nervous breakdown. Dave's Fun Algebra Class is a horror game disguised as educational software, and the soundtrack knows it. "This is a Warning" opens with exactly the energy the title promises.

"Algebra Trouble" layers anxiety over what should be simple equations. "Perty (Escape)" hits that frantic pace when things go wrong and you're just running. "Him" is unsettling in the way only indie horror games on PC and Linux manage to pull off, sparse and creepy.
Eight tracks, all short, all doing a lot with a little. The remastered label doesn't mean polished so much as sharper edges on something that was already cutting. Good company for anyone who always suspected math class was out to get them.
