Thick, remastered punches of sound that bridge the original DOA era with early 2000s production. Dead or Alive Ultimate on Xbox collected and reworked tracks from across the series, and it shows. "Blade of 'Ryu'" comes back with more weight behind it, "Break the age" still absolutely rips, and "Hitohira ~ reminiscent of ketsui no toki" adds layers of nostalgia on top of nostalgia.

The tracklist reads like a greatest hits but with new muscle. Classics like "DEAD OR ALIVE" and "Transcendence" sit alongside deeper cuts that fans of DOA1 and DOA2 will immediately recognize. It is basically the series saying "remember all of this?
here it is again, better." If you played any DOA game before 2005 and want to feel that again with upgraded sound, this delivers.
