CAVE's gothic lolita bullet hell Deathsmiles made the jump to mobile in 2011, and this soundtrack preserves the wonderfully unhinged energy of the arcade original. "Welcome to the Unreal World" sets the tone immediately with its eerie, carnival-like atmosphere, and "The Timid yet Noble Warrior" kicks into that signature CAVE intensity the moment the bullets start flying.

"Party in the Graveyard" is one of the standout stage themes -- this rollicking, almost playful piece that somehow makes dodging thousands of projectiles in a cemetery feel festive. "Mad Chase Through the Forest" and "Aerial Battle" ramp up the urgency with driving rhythms, while "Counterattack to the Bellowing Hot Earth" brings the heavy guitar work that CAVE boss rushes demand.
The boss themes are where the soundtrack really flexes. "Nightmare of the Screaming Demon" is pure adrenaline, and "Demon Dance (The Chosen One)" layers gothic organ over aggressive percussion in a way that perfectly matches the spectacle of a screen-filling boss pattern.
Even the menu tracks like "Down the Rabbit Hole" and "The Witch's Shop" drip with that dark fairy-tale charm that makes the whole Deathsmiles aesthetic work.
