Marc Canham's score for the multiplayer social deduction game Deceit is a masterclass in paranoid tension. "Lizzie's Theme" establishes an unsettling intimacy right away, and the track titles alone -- "He Will Kill Again," "Fantasy with a Knife," "Knife Going In" -- tell you exactly what kind of psychological territory this score inhabits.

It's a thriller soundtrack that never lets you feel safe. "Dark Secret" and "Escalation" build dread through slowly intensifying layers, perfectly mirroring the gameplay loop of trusting people less and less as the round goes on.
"On the Brink" captures that specific moment when you're almost certain someone is the infected player but can't prove it yet. "People Are Awful" and "Send Me Crazy" lean into the social breakdown that makes the game tick.
The sheer volume of tracks here -- 33 pieces -- means Canham had room to explore every shade of suspicion and violence. "I Followed Orders" and "14 Years" hint at darker narrative underpinnings, while "I'm Fine" drips with the kind of irony that only works when nothing is fine at all.
"We Got Him" and "It's Over" deliver the catharsis of resolution, but even those feel uneasy. Canham never lets the tension fully release.
