Densha de GO! 2

1999 · Arcade, Playstation

Densha de GO! 2 has an absurd number of ending themes. Multiple PS endings, arcade endings, and they're all different songs — "Haruka ~In tears~," "Shooting Star Express," "Precocious Milky Dream," "LOVE Express Komachi."

Each successful run gets rewarded with its own track, turning route completion into a music collection game. "The Invincible Wheel" as the arcade title theme gives train operation a heroic grandeur it absolutely deserves.

"O-May-Ga!" brings theatrical surprise energy. "Sonic ~Thunder of Metal Blue~" goes unexpectedly hard for a game about maintaining proper stopping distances. The variety of ending themes is the real draw — every route feels like its own journey with its own emotional payoff.

The game treats each rail line as worthy of its own song, which is exactly the kind of railway reverence that made this series a Japanese institution.
