"For Ketch And Crew" opens with a seafaring grandeur that has no business working this well in a sci-fi shooter, blending orchestral adventure with Destiny's signature scale. "With Full Sails" captures the open-space exploration of commanding your own pirate vessel, mixing wonder with momentum in a way that makes those Ketch runs feel genuinely cinematic.
There is a buoyancy to it that stands apart from the typically heavy Destiny fare. "Captains And Cutthroats" shifts into combat mode with aggressive percussion and threat, scoring the boarding encounters and boss fights against rival pirate crews.
It is a lean release, but seasonal soundtracks are built to complement, not compete with, the expansion scores. These three pieces do their job perfectly: they make you feel like a pirate Guardian, which is exactly the power fantasy Season of Plunder was selling.
