A compact six-track score from an obscure 2009 Japanese detective visual novel that leans into playful mystery rather than grim noir. With only generic track names to go by, the music has to do all the storytelling itself. The set moves between upbeat investigation themes, suspenseful moments that never get too dark, and character-driven pieces that carry the warmth of a club of friends solving mysteries together.
It's the kind of score that knows its tone and commits to it. Six tracks is lean even for a doujin visual novel, but sometimes that's all you need. Every piece serves a specific function in the story without filler. If you're the type who digs through indie VN soundtracks looking for hidden gems with personality, this little vacation mystery might be worth the stop.
