This remix album reimagines the intense soundtrack from Atlus's Devil Survivor, the SRPG-meets-demon-summoner title for the Nintendo DS. The original compositions by Takami Asano get a fresh coat of paint here, with "Reset Vocal" opening things up as a full vocal arrangement of the game's signature theme, while "Reset inst" closes the album with its instrumental counterpart.

It's a nice bookend structure that frames the whole collection. The battle tracks are where this remix album really flexes. "Aggressive tune" and "Battle beat" punch up the already-driving combat music with heavier arrangements, while "Demoniac fusion" and "Rival battle" capture the escalating tension of fighting increasingly powerful demons across Tokyo's lockdown.
"Cool jam" lives up to its name with a laid-back groove that contrasts nicely against the more frantic battle pieces. The atmospheric and emotional tracks round out the collection beautifully. "Deep night" and "Deep darkness" lean into the oppressive mood of a Tokyo cut off from the outside world, while "Sad seeing" and "Coldheartedness" carry the weight of the game's morally complex story choices.
"Last decision" and "Eternal life" deliver the dramatic gravitas fitting for a game where you're literally deciding the fate of humanity over seven days.
