A PSP mystery thriller soundtrack that reads like a noir film score broken into over thirty meticulously named pieces. "Fifty Fifty" and "Checkmate" nail that intellectual cat-and-mouse energy, while "Creeping Shadows" and "Creeping Chaos" form a dark thread running through the score. "Le tango de levres (Tango of Lips)" is the standout curveball, bringing genuine tango flavor into the mix with a sophistication that elevates the whole collection.
"Bar 'Giraffe'" sets a smoky late-night atmosphere, and "Profiling" keeps the detective work feeling sharp and methodical. The track list tells a complete story on its own, from peaceful beginnings through "Desperate Situation" and "Siege Net" to the finality of "Last Message."
"Juusei to Diamond" ties the musical themes back to the game's core imagery. This is the kind of deeply committed narrative scoring that the PSP visual novel scene produced at its best, and it deserves more attention than it gets.
