Every track from "DINO CRISIS" down to "Elusive Dr.Kirk" is intact. "Welcome to the genocide island" still opens with that same crushing atmosphere, lowercase letters doing nothing to soften the blow. "a Rowdy in ancient ages" retains its primal, chaotic energy.
"The wounds are pretty bad..." is still one of the most descriptive and grimly funny track titles on the PS1, and the music matches the desperation perfectly. If you've heard the 1999 pressing, this is the same core experience.
The real value is in having the complete tracklist accessible in its reissued form. "Set you at ease" remains the one moment of calm in an album that otherwise refuses to let your heart rate drop below 120. Capcom knew what they had and rereleased it because it deserved the second pass.
