"On Your Feet" throws you right into twitchy electronic rhythms, "Blades Runner" layers distorted synths over breakneck beats, and "CutMaster Hurt" has this punchy industrial groove that makes getting sliced in half feel almost danceable.
The track titles alone tell you how much fun Doseone was having. "If Grooves Could Kill," "Can't Touch This," "Bunch Of Jerks" -- there's a dark humor running through the whole project that mirrors the game's gleeful absurdity.
"The Space Between Deaths" goes surprisingly ambient and meditative, like catching your breath between runs, before "Jungle Near Jupiter" pulls you back into something dense and alien. The back half gets genuinely unsettling.
"Horror Is A Feeling" and "Ears Full Of Fear" shift into creeping dread territory, "Afraid Of The Light" is all paranoid textures, and "Terror Deconstructed" lives up to its name with fractured, anxious sound design. Thirty-one tracks that manage to be both a killer workout playlist and a genuinely creative electronic album.
