"I'll Make a Man Out of You" already had intensity baked in, but the racing arrangement makes it feel like a genuine adrenaline rush. "Under the Sea" and "The Bare Necessities" get pulled out of their laid-back comfort zones and turned into something you'd actually want blasting while drifting around a corner.
The more surprising picks are the highlights. "Trust in Me" from The Jungle Book becomes this slithery, tension-filled track that fits a competitive race perfectly. "The Gospel Truth" from Hercules and "Zero to Hero" bring the bombast.
"Hawaiian Roller Coaster Ride" from Lilo and Stitch and "He Mele No Lilo" add unexpected texture to the roster. Even "Do You Want to Build a Snowman" gets repurposed into something urgent. The original compositions hold their own too.
"Error 404" and "Firewall Breach" from Arbee's Arena bring a digital, glitchy edge that contrasts nicely with the classic Disney material. Having two versions of "Steamboat Willie" is a fun touch, and "Kraken Competition" goes full orchestral chaos.
It's a love letter to Disney music disguised as a racing soundtrack.
