"Fermion" and "Cypher Gate" push into complex electronic territory. "Sweet Shining Shooting Star" and "Dear my lady" bring pop sweetness. "Fury" and "Beat U Down" go aggressive. "Colours of Sorrow" and "Landscape" paint with atmosphere.
"Heart of Witch" and "Secret World" add mystery. The BS Style versions of Y and Lover reimagine established tracks. "바람에게 부탁해 Live Mix" (Entrust It to the Wind) and "River Flow" close with flowing beauty. "DJMAX" as a self-titled track feels like a mission statement.
Black Square earned its reputation as the definitive PSP rhythm game by sheer volume and quality of music.
