The Pretty League games were all about managing an all-female baseball team while navigating relationships, and this drama CD extends that world beyond the console. The tracks likely follow a short narrative arc with the game's cast, punctuated by character songs and comedic skits.
It's a format that was huge in Japan at the time but barely crossed over to Western audiences. Seven tracks is compact for a drama CD, which suggests a focused story rather than a sprawling anthology. For fans of the series, this is a slice of early-2000s otaku culture preserved in amber.
For everyone else, it's a fascinating artifact from an era when game franchises regularly expanded into audio dramas as a matter of course.
