Ten tracks of genre-hopping electronic and funk that refuse to sit still. Dokusenjima has one of the longest, most absurd subtitles in visual novel history, but the soundtrack is surprisingly tight and focused. "Bounce Trance" kicks the door open with pulsing club energy, and the album rarely lets up from there.
"Exotic Funk" delivers exactly what it promises, this slick bassline-driven groove that feels like late-night Tokyo. "Liquid Voltex" pushes into harder electronic territory with distorted synths and aggressive percussion, while "島の日常" (Island Daily Life) pulls back into something calmer and more pastoral, the sonic equivalent of sitting on a beach before everything goes sideways.
"逃走迷路" (Escape Labyrinth) builds this nervous, chase-sequence tension, and "Mad Step Dance" closes the album with frenetic energy that makes you want to move. The mix of Japanese and English track titles mirrors the soundtrack's refusal to commit to any single genre.
Compact, punchy, no wasted space.
