The tonal whiplash between characters is the whole appeal. "Golden Lion" for Uwain has this regal, brass-forward energy, while "Distortion" for Kay goes darker and more aggressive. "ドリーム☆シンドローム" (Dream Syndrome) for Lucan is pure sugary pop with a star in the title and everything.
Mordred's theme "絢爛たる黒焔者" (The Resplendent Black Flame) goes as hard as you'd expect for the legendary traitor. The range across twenty-plus tracks is genuinely impressive. "Lunatic Moon" for Agravain and "Blooming Light Flowers" for Morgause show the composers matching musical mood to character archetype with real precision.
Even Merlin gets a dreamy, languid piece about a lazy princess's dreams. For a mobile game OST, the production quality and sheer volume of distinct character themes is something else entirely.
