By the time you hit "The God of Destruction Comes" on Stage 3, the intensity has doubled, and "Pressure" for the last boss is exactly the kind of wall-of-sound panic these games are famous for. Hearing the evolution across all three games is the real treat here.
The original Donpachi tracks have that raw mid-90s arcade FM synthesis bite, Dodonpachi cranks the production values higher, and Dodonpachi II pushes into more melodic territory.
