"Gale Force" on Stage 2 pushes harder, and by "The God of Destruction Comes" on Stage 3, the music is matching the screen full of bullets pattern for pattern. The boss theme "A Worthy Rival Appears" is a classic of the genre -- tense, driving, and perfectly timed to the moment when a massive enemy fills the screen and starts unloading.
