A reunion-themed visual novel soundtrack that lives up to its name — "Dousoukai" means class reunion, and the music radiates nostalgia for school days past. "just in love" and "Friends" each appear in three versions — standard, instrumental, and refrain — creating the album's emotional backbone.
The refrain versions suggest revisiting these songs with different emotional context. "The Sky Over My Shoulders" and "Season of Sunlight Shining Through the Leaves" paint with naturalistic imagery. "Today is Perfect for Wasting Time" captures the lazy beauty of youth.
"Roadside Trees in Winter" and "Four-Leaf Clover" mark seasons and luck. "My Thoughts are Always Like the Spring Breeze" is poetic without being precious. "Sitting Around a Fireplace" and "A Sunny Spot" create intimate warmth.
"These Feelings, in My Heart" and "Unforgettable Time" carry the weight of emotions that survived years of separation. The again&refrain subtitle tells you everything — this is about going back and hearing the same melodies differently.
