Reihou Academy's theme probably sounds appropriately villainous. "Technos Fanfare" opens with the developer's signature sound. "Sad (The Death of Rika...!)" is a hilariously dramatic track title for a baseball game — only Kunio-kun could make a sports title this melodramatic.
"Kunio Appearance Fanfare" gives the protagonist his own hero entrance music. Tension tracks in small and medium sizes scale the drama appropriately. Multiple fanfares — score, item acquisition, great war, awards — punctuate the gameplay with celebratory bursts.
The 2007 Special designation on a SNES game suggests this is a remastered collector's release of Downtown Nekketsu Baseball's complete audio, preserving Technos Japan's distinctive chiptune energy.
