"The boundary between day and evening" and "Around the time of fire" track the passage of time through poetic descriptions. "City that never sleeps" captures the urban brawling atmosphere. "Shopping song" scores those iconic mall visits where you buy sushi to heal between street fights.
"Moment of peace" provides the calm between beatdowns. "Soul friend" and "My struggle" add emotional depth to what's essentially a game about punching everyone you meet. "Aku no hana" (Flowers of Evil) brings literary weight.
"Mighty hero" and "Majestic" build toward the climactic confrontation. The SP (Special) version modernizes River City Ransom's audio while respecting the spirit of the NES original.
