"Fall of the Magister" leads with gravitas, its full version carrying the political weight of Tevinter's crumbling legacy, while its stripped-down acoustic version reveals the folk bones underneath. "Companions" is arguably the emotional centerpiece, and hearing it progress from the lush full arrangement to the bare acapella version is genuinely moving -- it captures the bittersweet reality of the Inquisition's inner circle going their separate ways.
"Scout Lace Harding" is a delightful surprise, giving the beloved minor character her own theme that's warm, earthy, and just a little bit playful, perfectly matching her personality. The three-version format turns out to be more than a gimmick.
"Slightest" and "Inquisitor..." both benefit from the stripped-back treatments, with the acapella versions in particular showcasing vocal performances that carry raw emotion you might miss in the fuller arrangements. For a DLC that essentially served as the epilogue to Inquisition and the bridge to Veilguard, these songs hit exactly the right note of reflection and farewell.
